My involvement with Mikoroshoni Primary School started when I met John Brooker, one of the original four MPS Trustees. John is a member of Rotary Middleton, I joined Rotary in 2013 and quickly became friends with John. I was so impressed with what the Trustees had achieved since 1996 and wanted to help. Initially my help was no more than a monthly donation to help fund the school.
In early 2016 I was asked if I would consider becoming a Trustee of the Friends of Mikoroshoni Primary School and use my skills in I.T., Social Media, Resource Management and Marketing to help the Trustees in the development of the school and charity – I jumped at the chance!
Today I am working to further improve our website and other social media platforms and I’m looking forward to helping to secure the future of MPS.
